I’m Evan Ruffell, an adventure and nature photographer born and raised on Vancouver Island. Since 2018, I’ve been documenting the rugged beauty, remote corners, and unexpected moments this coast has to offer.

I believe that getting outside, especially past the obvious and easy-to-reach places, helps build balance, curiosity, and responsibility. Nature has a way of teaching us how to plan, adapt, and overcome. And the people who make adventure a part of their lives are usually the ones putting something good back into the world.

 

The effort it takes to get somewhere often shapes how we treat it once we arrive. I want to show what’s out there, not give away every turn on the trail.
